About the product
Overview
The Dreambaby Room & Bath Thermometer is a floating digital thermometer shaped like a yellow duck. It shows the temperature of baby's bath water and can also be used to read room temperature.
Key features
- Digital display refreshing every 10 seconds, switchable between Celsius and Fahrenheit, per the brand.
- Colour indicator when submerged: red for hot water, green for cool water, per the listing.
- Works in the bath and in the nursery.
- Batteries included, with a 30-minute auto shut-off, per the listing.
- The listing says it is tested to the EN71 standard and BPA-free; this is a brand claim.
Who it suits
Parents who want a quick reference for bath water temperature; checking the water by hand is still necessary.
Limitations
- Shipped from the US through Amazon Global Store; import charges are included in the displayed price.
- Uses 2 LR44 batteries; the listing gives no recommended age.
- Not a substitute for constant adult supervision in the bath.
- No independent accuracy test found and we have not tried it ourselves. One gallery photo shows a turtle version, which is not covered here.
