About the product
Overview
A baby healthcare and grooming kit from Tommee Tippee with 9 essentials in a zip-up hard-shell case, according to Tommee Tippee and the Amazon.sa listing. It ships from and is sold by Amazon.sa; the listed colour is Black.
What's in the kit
- Digital oral thermometer
- Manual nasal aspirator
- Baby nail scissors with rounded ends
- Baby nail clippers
- Soft-bristle hairbrush and comb
- Toddler toothbrush
- Two nail files
Key features (per Tommee Tippee)
- Rounded ends, soft bristles and comfortable handles for use with babies.
- Zip-up hard-shell case that is waterproof and wipe-clean, keeping everything together at home or when travelling.
- Tommee Tippee lists it from birth to toddlerhood, while the Amazon listing carries a warning recommending it from 1 month and above.
What reviews say
- Rated 4.7/5 from about 37,000 ratings on Amazon.sa, and one of the best sellers in baby grooming and health kits.
- Mother&Baby's review found the pieces better made than expected and praised the value and handy case.
- On the other hand, parents on forums and review sites (Netmums, BabyBabyToBe) repeatedly report low or inaccurate thermometer readings, and the nasal aspirator on its own scores poorly on Tell Me Baby for weak suction and a tip too large for newborn nostrils.
Who it suits
- Parents who want everyday basics (nails, hair, teeth) together in one case for home or travel.
- A practical, reasonably priced new-baby gift.
Limits before you buy
- Don't rely on the included thermometer alone when you suspect a fever; a dedicated, reliable thermometer alongside it is a better choice, and check with a doctor if you are worried.
- The nasal aspirator is basic and many parents found it ineffective.
- The Amazon.sa listing marks the item as non-returnable.
- We have not tested this kit; this assessment is based on the cited sources.
Care and use
- Clean each tool after use and dry it well before putting it back in the case.
- Wipe the thermometer before and after every use.
- Keep the scissors and clippers out of children's reach.
Why this rating?
A practical, well-priced kit that gathers everyday baby care tools in a travel case, with strong Amazon.sa ratings (4.7/5 from about 37,000) and a positive Mother&Baby review. However, the included thermometer has repeated reports of inaccurate readings and parents rate the nasal aspirator poorly, so its real value is the nail, hair and tooth tools plus the case. We have not tested it; this assessment is based on the cited sources.
A good fit if
- You have a dedicated, reliable thermometer and don't rely on the included one alone
- Your main need is nail, hair and tooth tools in one case
