Why this rating?Why this rating?
7.4 / 10Worth it with conditions
Based on published editorial reviews and shopper ratings (we did not test it ourselves).
Good Housekeeping named it the Best Value travel crib in May 2026, Consumer Reports lists it among its three best play yards, and Amazon shoppers rate it 4.8/5 from over 14,000 ratings.
It is held back by what it leaves out: there is no bassinet, changer or toy bar, the floor is low for laying a newborn, and it weighs about 8.5 kg.
On Amazon.sa it is shipped from the US and costs roughly 20% more than Graco's US price of $64.99.
A good fit if
- Best if you mainly need a travel crib or playpen for an older baby or toddler; if you want a raised newborn bassinet, choose a model that includes one
- Buy a matching 29 × 39 in playard sheet, since none is included
- Delivery can take about a week because the Amazon.sa offer ships from Amazon US

About the product
Overview
The Graco Pack 'n Play Portable Playard is Graco's basic, no-frills playard: a mesh-sided play space and travel crib with a push-button fold, folding feet, wheels on one side and a carry bag. Graco recommends it for children up to 35 inches (about 89 cm) tall who cannot climb out, and Good Housekeeping notes it is age-graded from birth. This listing is the Carnival print, model 1946962.
Key features (per Graco and the Amazon.sa listing)
- Signature Graco push-button fold; the feet and wheels fold in for a more compact package.
- Airy mesh on all four sides for ventilation and so your child can see you.
- Mesh storage pouch on the side for wipes, a diaper or small toys.
- Wheels on one end so you can roll it into position at home.
- Carry bag included for travel and storage.
- About 100 × 72 × 74 cm set up (39.5 × 28.25 × 29 in) and about 8.5 kg (18.7 lb) per Graco.
What independent reviews say
- Good Housekeeping (May 2026): named it Best Value among travel cribs and Pack 'n Plays. The tester liked the low price, the wheels and the compact fold, and found it great for an older baby or toddler. She noted a learning curve the first few times you set it up and fold it, and that without a bassinet it is awkward to bend down and lay a newborn on the low floor (though it is safe to do so).
- Consumer Reports (2026): listed it as one of its three best play yards, alongside the BabyBjörn Travel Crib Light and the Guava Lotus, after asking 21 parents about their experience.
- Forbes Vetted (2026): calls it a simple, affordable classic with an integrated carrying system, and notes it has no extras such as a bassinet or changing pad.
Who it suits
- Families who want an affordable travel crib for trips or the grandparents' house.
- A safe, contained play space at home for a crawling baby or toddler while you cook or work for short stretches.
Limits to know
- No raised bassinet, changing table or toy bar; for newborns you lay your baby on the low floor.
- Not the lightest option for flights at about 8.5 kg.
- No fitted sheet is included and Graco says the pad is not waterproof.
- Stop using it once your child reaches 35 inches (about 89 cm) or can climb out, whichever comes first.
- For sleep, use only the pad that came with it and keep pillows, blankets and extra mattresses out, as the manual and safe-sleep guidance advise.
Care
- Clean the frame with household soap and warm water and let it drip dry.
- Wipe the mattress pad with a damp cloth; do not use bleach.
- Graco says to remove any sand carefully before packing, as sand can damage the top-rail locks.
