Why this rating?Why this rating?
8.0 / 10Worth it
Over 100 words across 12 categories, three play modes, two songs and a 4.8/5 rating from about 36.9k aggregated ratings make this a well-tested learning toy at a modest price.
We did not try it and know of no independent lab test; the long-term score is held back because the 100 words are fixed and become revision material.
The main caveat for Arabic-speaking families is that audio is English and Spanish only.
A good fit if
- Only worthwhile if you want English or Spanish content
- Expect to replace the demo batteries soon

Who it suits
Families who want to introduce English or Spanish vocabulary through play for a child aged 18 months to five years, especially households raising a bilingual child or planning early language exposure.
Before you buy
- The book does not speak Arabic — audio is English and Spanish only, which matters if you want fully Arabic content.
- The content is fixed: 100 words are learned once, then the book becomes a revision tool rather than new material.
- The rating shown on Amazon is aggregated across the listing's editions, not specific to this edition.
- This version ships from the Global Store (UAE) with import charges included.
- The included batteries are for demo purposes only per LeapFrog; fit fresh ones for daily use.
- LeapFrog does not publish detailed cleaning instructions for the book, so follow the manual included in the box.
Bottom line
A simple, sturdy learning toy with a very strong ratings record, but its value is specifically for English or Spanish, not Arabic.
