Why this rating?Why this rating?
7.4 / 10Worth it with conditions
A practical sensory toy: 24 ABS blocks that wipe clean, press together and pull apart without effort, build sideways, and come in high-contrast colours.
At SAR 117.84 for the set the price is fair for the piece count.
But the 4.4 out of 5 from 6,827 ratings sits below the category average, some shoppers report blocks separating under rough play, and there is no independently certified educational claim.
A yes within those limits, especially for open-ended building play from six months.
We have not tried it and found no independent test to rely on.
A good fit if
- Graded from 6 months on the listing; not for younger babies without supervision
- Expect to re-press some blocks after rough play
- Do not expect independently certified educational value

About the product
Overview
The Infantino Press & Stay set holds 24 sensory blocks in ABS plastic, graded from 6 months on the listing. The blocks press together and pull apart easily, can be built upwards or sideways, and carry high-contrast colours and raised textures for sensory play.
Key features
- 24 blocks in the set, enough to build with and to split between more than one child.
- Easy to press together and pull apart at a size that suits a small hand and a child's developing grip.
- Sideways building: they stack upwards and connect sideways too.
- High-contrast colours and raised textures to support early sensory play.
- Easy to clean: the brand describes the material as wipe clean.
Who it suits
Anyone wanting an open-ended toy for a baby starting to sit and press things from around six months, where quick cleaning matters day to day.
Worth knowing
- Rating is middling: 4.4 out of 5 from 6,827 ratings, below many comparable sensory and teething toys.
- Blocks can separate: some shoppers report them coming apart under rough play from older toddlers, a recurring experience worth factoring in.
- No educational claim: the listing carries no independent educational certification or grading.
- Age grade: the listing grades the set from 6 months; with a younger baby, do not leave the blocks in reach unsupervised.
- Clean regularly: wipe the blocks after floor play or heavy drooling.
Care
Wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid submerging or heat-sterilising the blocks unless the listing states otherwise.
